Summary/Abstract: In the teaching and learning of Arabic the usage of the modem technology is inevitable. Therefore, it is necessary to use the Internet, one of the most impor¬tant communication devices in our modem age, in this procedure. The Internet provides various possibilities in the teaching of Arabic. For example, it is worth mentioning that today we can read many Arabic texts, newspapers, journals and magazines in Webpages. The language in these materials are easy to read and written in formal Arabic. On the one hand it helps the students to develop their language skills, on the other hand it provides many documents to the Arabic teachers. It is also possible to print out many of these documents. Apart from this, the radios which are available in the Internet give the students an oppor¬tunity to correct and develop their pronunciation. By this way, with the excep¬tion of living in any Arabic countries, the virtual Arabic atmosphere will be created.
