Summary/Abstract: The enhancement of cohesion policy can be achieved through an analysis of cultural conditioning. Given the ongoing economic integration taking place in Europe, the cultural and historical conditioning can pose various threats to less developed and more peripheral regions. Such an analysis can bring an opportunity to transfer knowledge and solutions to problems associated with cultural diversity management. It is worth noting that this can affect the way the allocation of structural funds is optimized.
