M. ZAHID AL-KEVSERI’S INTERPRETATION OF THE QUR’ANIC VERSES RELATED TO THE DEATH OF JESUS, HIS ASCENSION TO THE HEAVENS AND HIS SECOND COMING

Summary/Abstract: This article deals with Zahid al-Kevseri’s approach to the verses concerning the death, ascension and second coming of the Prophet Jesus. In this context the author aims to discuss whether his comments or those of certain modern commentators are more authentic? Their comments are analyzed and evaluated in the light of the Qur’an in accordance with scholarly methods.
