The first Revelation of the Holy Qurans' invitation on lifelong learning

Summary/Abstract: This paper presents an understanding of the concept of lifelong learning through the prism of the messages from the Qurans First proclamation. After the introductory considerations and the quotation of five ayats, which constitute the First proclamation, and the definition of used terms, the Quran's messages from the First proclamation were analyzed in the context of the need for lifelong learning. The results clearly prove that the concept of lifelong learning is fully compatible with the messages from the First proclamation in the Quran and that Quran requires lifelong learning from this believers. In doing this, Quran leaves to the believers a wide freedom of choice regarding the choice in the process of lifelong learning.
