Summary/Abstract: The reform of the criminal justice system of the Republic of Bulgaria covers a specific system of legislative, administrative and organizational measures, aimed at delivering timely and fair justice. The preparation and the adoption of a new Code of Criminal Procedure is a natural result of striving to improve the Bulgarian legislation in the field of criminal proceedings.
