Summary/Abstract: The expertise is one of the main methods of proving and revealing the objective truth in the criminal procedure of the Republic of Bulgaria. The expert conclusion is an essential element of the evidence that should be relevant to the circumstances included in the subject of proof. The author presents an analysis of the problems associated with the expert research and conclusions by providing legislative changes for their proper solution.
