AN INNOVATIVE INTERNET PROJECT MULTIMEDIA LINGUISTIC-CULTURAL DICTIONARY “RUSSIA”

Summary/Abstract: The paper analyzes the electronic dictionary Multimedia linguistic-cultural dictionary “Russia.” An innovative Internet project. The author compared it to its paper version of 2007. On the basis of the entry “old style” differences and similarities of both projects were pinpointed. While analyzing the dictionary, special attention was paid to features typical of electronic dictionaries, such as: hypermodality, their interactive nature and focus on the user.
