Summary/Abstract: Linguo-cultural lexicography is a discipline which has recently developed in the field of cultural linguistics. Its aim is to analyse the already existing dictionnaries and to propose rules of compiling new ones. In the article the author characterizes linguo-culturological dictionaries and dictionaries of terms related to life and institutions. Many of such dictionaries are limited to providing information typically lifeand institutions-related, which does not guarantee successful international communication. Entries in linguo-culturological dictionaries are most often described through their semantic and sygmatic aspects. This article focuses on the pragmatic and syntactic elements in the linguistic description.
