Summary/Abstract: Throughout history, art has been nourished from the social, economic, cultural and political structures of the societies and has been transformed into new language of expression through the transformations of these structures. While the artists who witnessed this process of socio-political change reflected the political and social situation of the period to the works of art, they brought the art to the universal dimension with the social messages they gave. Art works, ideologies, ideologies, and social events have contributed to a historical past. The messages that the artists give their political imagery in their works influence each individual in the society, enabling the formation of different perceptions and images in the minds of the audience. In today's art, where cultural-economic and political changes play an important role in art works, the multiple meanings in which political images are introduced provide the possibility of presenting different narratives to the artist. The historical landscape based on the coexistence of art and political image spreads a very broad platform, so research has been reduced to the art of contemporary ceramics only. Thus, it is aimed to examine this in more detail. In this study, the relationship between contemporary ceramic art and political imagery has been analyzed and evaluated on a current basis. The multiple meanings of used images are emphasized, political images, the theoretical and ideological unity of contemporary ceramic art besides plastic analysis only. In addition, it has been determined how artists who are fed from political subjects enter into the process of creation in art of ceramics and exhibit artistic attitudes.
