Noun forming suffixes with initial č

Summary/Abstract: We deal with formation 'suffixes of secondary origin in this article which is not regularly mentioned in the grammars of Serbo-Croatian. These are suffixes like -če, -čić, -čica, -čina, -čanin, -čurina, -čad etc. They have been formed after the primary suffix had attached to it a secondary Č belonging to the stem morpheme. Having in mind the independence of these suffixes, the author classifies them into the formation system of the language and there is no justification in leaving them out.
