Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to point the need for the introduction of new and more modern methods for the investigations in contemporary Serbo-Croat terminology and lexicology. Much emphasis is placed especially on the need for a new approach to terminology which would enable Yugoslav linguist to keep pace with the most modern trends in linguistic science as a whole.
