Summary/Abstract: The article presents the research results conducted in Poland (Cieszyn) and Czech Republic (Český Těšín). The first part of the paper features a brief description of cross-border cultural services market in city of Cieszyn-Český Těšín. The second part identifies consumer behaviour (citizens of CieszynČeský Těšín), in particular including an analysis of selected market behaviours of consumers of services offered by Polish and Czech cultural institutions. The research was carried out in 2017 and 2018 on a group of 799 consumers of the offers of cultural institutions located in city of Cieszyn-Český Těšín. The research was part of a project “Programme for Culture of Cieszyn and Czech Cieszyn” implemented by City of Cieszyn and Education Talent Culture from Český Těšín, co-funded by the European Union as part of the INTERREG V-A Czech Republic – Poland Programme.
