Development of banking services distribution channels in relation to banking sector financial results

Summary/Abstract: Technological development is gaining significance in modern economy. This fact also occours in banking sector. There is a significant growth in numer of people, who use internet banking and there are appearing several modern technologies (such as blockchain). The competitive pressure requires activities, which raise incomes and cut costs of banking. The aim of thic article is to investigate the influence of development of internet banking in relation to incomes of banking sector. In the first part of this article, there is a historical note about development of banking services and its regulatory environment. In the second part there is an analysis of percentage of people, who use internet banking in relation to numer of overall banking accounts. It is compared to shaping of banking sector incomes from banking activity.
