GLOBALIZATION’S EVOLUTION AND ITS EFFECTS

Summary/Abstract: Globalization is a complex and extensive phenomenon, affecting all aspects of our existence, this being the socio-political reality in which we conduct our life. It is necessary to know every societal dimension in which globalization is present. In this perspective, the question that I will try to answer in this paper is whether or not globalization emphasizes the socio-economic differences (especially poverty) in already poor countries, despite its mission to ensure quality of people and communities’ life at a decent level around the globe.
