Summary/Abstract: The article presents theoretical reports and the results of own research on the experience of stress and burnout of power from the perspective of mothers of children with rare genetic diseases. The first part presents the concepts of rare disease, parental stress and burnout. I am also familiarizing selected reports from research on stress experienced by parents of children with disabilities. In the second part, I briefly present the methodological assumptions of the research. Next, I present the results of research carried out using the method of narrative interview among mothers of children with rare genetic diseases regarding their stress and burnout of strength.
