Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article was to determine the way in which the prevention of aggression in modern school functions. As a research method was used the interview with school pedagogues. On the basis of the conducted research, it was shown that the scale of aggression in the studied schools is high. It usually occurs in verbal form, although physical aggression also takes place. Contrary to appearances, aggression applies not only to children who have aggressive parents or who come from pathological families, but also to children whose parents are overprotective and try to remove from their kids all obstacles. As a result, children are not able to solve their problems by themselves and react aggressively. The preventive methods in school should be attractive to students and involve them emotionally. A big problem in the studied schools is the lack of funds for various types of campaigns and materials, thanks to which the classes would be more attractive to students. The research shows that the prevention of aggressive behavior should include not only pupils, but also their parents, who should be made aware of the effects of their educational methods.
