Summary/Abstract: Swearing is becoming an increasingly common phenomenon not only in professional life but also in social and family life. It should not be surprising because there are more and more researchers who believe that it helps to relieve negative emotions, unites groups, facilitates learning foreign languages and even brings relief in physical suffering. However untested, considerations that have not been fully confirmed cannot override the negative side of swearing. People who use offensive words are becoming more and more aggressive, willing to break established ethical and professional standards. In order to oppose the phenomenon of swearing, one must constantly emphasize the beauty of language and its everlasting values.
