Summary/Abstract: In 1932 changes in education in Poland were initiated. At that time a primary school emerged. It lasted seven years and it was the beginning point of children’s education. For that type of school, educational programs were to be prepared. The Ministry responsible for education outlined main aims and contents of teaching for the programs’ authors of each subject. Based on those guidelines, initial drafts and, later, programs were created. The same procedure applied to Religious Education programs. The new programs put Jesus Christ in the center. The whole material in all classes concentrated on Him, making children familiar with His life and teaching. In this way, programs of Religious Education were focused on Jesus Christ, which made them Christocentric.
