Summary/Abstract: One of the manuscripts preserved at the National Library “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” is the mathematical and astronomical compendium OP 1142, created in 492 A.H./1099 A.D.The article presents its codicological and palaeographical description and the contents of the Arabic versions of Greek treatises, translated by Abu Sahl al-Quhi and Qusta Ibn Luqa. These include: the first two Books of Euclid`s Elements; Sphaerics, On Habitations and On Days and Nights by Theodosius of Bithynia; the well-known work on the ascensions of the planets written by Hypsicles and the only known surviving treatise generally attributed to Aristarchus On the Sizes and Distances of the Sun and Moon.
