The plans of youth from the Polish-Czech borderland associated with going abroad

Summary/Abstract: In the context of social, cultural and economic determinants and individual potentialities concerning the fulfillment of their aspirations, young people make plans for the future. The collected data reflect the youth’s images of what is valuable in life and what determines their conduct in the future. The presented empirical material refers to the results of the earlier research conducted in the same school environments among learners at the same age. The studies were aimed at finding out the learners’ educational and professional plans associated with going and undertaking work abroad, with special regard to the dynamics of the examined phenomenon.
