Current Regulation of the European System for Granting Asylum

Summary/Abstract: In the article under particular consideration is the current situation of the European asylum system. It represents a central part of the EU activities and is under constant development. It is envisaged that substantial amendments are to be made therein.The forthcoming steps in the ongoing reform of the Common European Asylum System are in implementation of the European Agenda on Migration. In the article are presented the basic legislative acts currently in force in this area as well as some of the most important new legislative proposals.
