Summary/Abstract: The ambition of the paper is to analyze the direct reportage transmission from the sporting event as "amphitheatre communication discourse" (V. Flusser), as "a carnival that is not for contemplation, but for survival" (M. Bachtin) and as "an image of controlling body and will" (L. Riefenstahl). The contribution demonstrates three important features that are often used in the sports transmission environment: (1) a strong emotional plot, (2) the contradictory nature of individual components that amplify the main conflict and (3) predictable dramaturgy that makes reception of the event easier and navigates the reception in the desired direction.
