Summary/Abstract: The article considers the third text ever published in the Udmurt language. It is a solemn speech written in 1801 on the occasion of the coronation of Emperor Alexander I. The genre peculiarity of the monument of the Udmurt writing is specified, the story of its creation is revealed, the graphics, orthography and dialect specifics of the text are studied.
