The Role of Management Control in the Process of Development Strategy Implementation in Regional and Local Authorities

Summary/Abstract: The paper shows the rules and functioning of management control as the main element of public management in the process of development strategy implementation in regional and local authorities. Based on the current standards, law regulations, and strategic regional and local authorities policy there analysis of documents and the case study were used. Apart from that in the paper one can find an example of developing a strategic plan for regional and local authorities considering some instruments of management control, like risk management and formulating objectives and measures of tasks.
