Summary/Abstract: Nowadays, the success of cultural institutions depends on determining the directions of organizational development and monitoring the obtained effects. The defined strategy should meet the needs of recipients, improve internal processes, take into account the development of employees and ensure financing of operations. Therefore, museums should use business-proven strategic management tools to facilitate strategy planning. One of them is the strategy map showing how the organization accomplishes the strategy and completes the mission. The main purpose of the article is to show the importance of the strategy map in the strategic management of the cultural institution and to present the process of implementing the strategy of the Muzeum Łazienki Królewskie w Warszawie using the strategy map. Achieving the goal required a literature review, including legal acts and case analysis.
