Summary/Abstract: Modern technologies have been used in various areas of personnel management for years. Usually, such processes as are supported by IT tools: recruitment and selection, adaptation, development, remuneration systems or personnel and payroll administration. Research is also conducted in these areas. However, there are no studies on the use of IT tools supporting decruitment, one of the most difficult functions of human resources management. The aim of the paper is to present the possibilities of applying modern technologies in the process of decruitment based on the analysis of literature and the results of own research. The research was carried out using semi-structured written interviews. The results of the research have shown that almost half of the respondents do not see the possibility of using technological and information solutions in the process of decruitment.
