Alternative Possibilities for the Implementation of Tasks in the Health Care Sector in Poland

Summary/Abstract: The health care sector in Poland is still struggling with financial problems. Therefore, in this article the authors try to present alternative methods of public tasks implementation in health care. Despite the current limited practice, in the health care sector, several projects are currently being implemented in the form of public-private partnership. On the basis of previous experience, the authors analyze the possibilities of using public-private partnerships in projects related to health protection, and try to define the reasons for the weak use of public-private partnership instruments in this area.
