Summary/Abstract: The objective of this article is to analyse employee anomie in relation to the presence of mentoring in an organisation. The article presents the findings of authors' own study carried out in 2017 on a group of 1027 respondents. The study was intended to identify mentoring processes and anomic behaviors as well as and especially justifications for such behaviors. The results obtained in the study allow to conclude that there are various anomic behaviors and justifications serving to rationalize them. Statistically significant correlations have been found among superior's support for employee participation in mentoring processes, employees seeing the superior as a mentor, employees acting as mentors and justifications for anomic behaviors among employees of an organisation.
