Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper is to present the main directions of exchange of organisational culture of companies with respect to a particular model of innovation management. This objective was realized through: a presentation of the main definitions related to the terms innovation and organizational culture, to trace trends in the exchange of innovative business models for the characteristics of organizational culture. Based on the results of secondary sources, as well as their own experiences of the research indicated that the success of the introduction of open innovation models for businesses is in integral relationship with their organisational culture. In the case of Polish enterprises, the key challenge is to create a new type – an open corporate culture.
