Summary/Abstract: Open organizations and open business models should be seen as a key factor in raising the competitiveness of the European economy in accordance with the EU document called Europe 2020. The paper shows evolving contemporary organizations towards open organization and open business models. As the basis for this process, the ability to develop open culture, open resources and open knowledge was adopted. In the paper, theoretical analyzes are completed and supported by the concept of the so-called “Organization Openness Reader.” The article is an overview and conceptual nature.
