Summary/Abstract: Companies face great challenges: serving an increasing demands of the customer, caring for the environment and having a highly responsible performance from the social point of view. Requirements demanded by entities committed to the entire context that makes up a situation that affects the organizational culture of any business. Such is the case of so-called “family” companies, which should be able to self-assess and analyze their current situation in the aforementioned challenges. The objective of this research is to identify the social responsibility activities carried out by family businesses with their Stakeholders with respect to their clients. The research was carried out in 51 family businesses of different denominations, located in Cd. Obregón, Sonora, Mexico, obtaining as a result activities like respecting their privacy and evaluating their satisfaction. However, it is identified that there is still a need to work with stakeholders in actions such as: informing them about the appropriate use of their products and possible risks, incorporating them into business decisions and informing them about environmental factors of their products. To conclude, the importance of establishing work programs (university-company) should allow business leaders to respond to new demands.
