Summary/Abstract: The turbulent market environment implies for the companies operating in, the need to search for the most effective and effective business solutions that guarantee the achievement of competitive advantages. The future of the company in the global economy is its activity focused on creating communication and providing offers rich in values for clients, partners and society as a whole. A key role in the activities related to creating and supplying value to participants of market relations plays the decision-making process, from planning the content of the strategy to its implementation and achieving as a result of positive changes. In the situation of the company’s orientation on the creation of values, the availability and use of financial resources play an important role. The possibility of applying EU aid in the development of a company is a challenge but also an opportunity for it. The authors present Balanced Scorecard by R.S. Kaplan and D.P. Norton as an EU assistance application tool to achieve a business advantage. Thanks to its design, Balanced Scorecard enables the company’s development from the point of view of various stakeholder groups and the process of its implementation allows the creation of new company value.
