Summary/Abstract: The first part of the article describes relationship between theoretical foundations and the concepts of police prevention. The next issues concerns the prevention activity of the Police garrisons and the assessment criteria related to social prevention. The last part of the article concerns the structure of the prevention program model. In summary a few considerations and conclusions on the subject were presented.
