Summary/Abstract: The author presents the results of a survey on the impact of social distance and attitudes towards immigrants on the sense of security threats in the context of the possible presence of the refugees in Poland. The population of respondents consisted of students of national security studies. The main assumption of the survey project was based on a hypothesis claiming that the higher the level of social distance towards immigrants from different countries, the greater the sense of security threats related to the possible presence of refugees in Poland.
