„Fine feathers make fine birds” – facts and opinions about Poles and Germans based on cooperation between Gimnazjum im. Władysława Jagiełły in Skwierzyna and Oberschule in Fredersdorf‑Vogelsdorf

Summary/Abstract: The main goal of the study was to get to know the views of Polish‑German youth about prejudices and stereotypes and their probable change for better or worse under the influence of cooperation between the given schools. The second goal was to examine the level of knowledge about selected issues related to culture, tradition and customs in Poland and Germany. The questionnaire consisted of 22 questions including 13 closed and 9 open, covering several areas related to national perception and polyglotism. Both Polish and German students had the same questions.The study presents the results of a total of 4 on‑line questionnaires.
