Summary/Abstract: In this paper, the author deals with the rules applicable in a special media lawsuit proceeding initiated on the grounds of publishing a correction of inaccurate, incomplete or incorrectly imparted information. The author compares the rules of the general civil procedure and the rules of this special proceeding which are prescribed in the Public Information Act. The author analyzes some potentially disputable issues which may be encountered in the course of applying these legal provisions in practice, specifically focusing on the participants in these proceedings, the burden of proof and relevant legal remedies.
