Summary/Abstract: The genre and style collaboration between journalism and literature in 20-30s of the Twentieth century in the Bulgarian media born hybrid genres: documentary story, sensational news and reports melodrama. This article discusses two stories translated in Bulgarian press. One is "Two romances” by General Goering; this one draws on the political picture in Germany since 1935, representing one of the actual approaches to ’light’ writing, and simultaneously - political advertising in an artistic spirit. The second documentary melodrama is representative of the era of "new objectiveness” - real “literary and technical combination." The story "First Love" by Henry Ford represents the symbol of modern industry from the early twentieth century as a gifted novelist and essayist, possesses the classical techniques of "short story". Simultaneously, the Henry Ford's text produces advertising meanings provoked by a massive development of the "Ford" company in the 20s and 30s.
