Summary/Abstract: The paper reveals the intercultural dimension of the Laza Kostic’ poem Santa Maria della Salute. Venetian church dedicated to the Holy Virgin constitutes a literary and intercultural context of the poem. The poem establishes a dialogue with other texts; repeating of the title as a refrain becomes important tag of addressing the Virgin Mary. The title and the refrain indicate intersection of cultural, religious and linguistic aspects of the poem and its universality. Interculturality of the poem reveals the transformation of identity of the poet, celebration of love through addressing to the Virgin Mary and recognition of condemnation of other as a sin.
