The Image of a Stranger through the Folk Botany: Ethnic Terms in Phytonyms

Summary/Abstract: In the paper the group of Slavonic phytonyms formed from ethnonyms is analysed. This model of nomination may have different grounds, or features: „wild”, „not real”, „bad”, and so on. The aim is to compare the row of ethnic terms actual in this or that tradition for labelling various plants.
