Summary/Abstract: The paper compares the film Time of Miracles (1989, screenplay by Borislav Pekić and Goran Paskaljević, directed by Goran Paskaljević) with Pekić’s book of the same title (1965). Various aspects of that particular adaptation, and adaptation in general, are considered. The film is interpreted as a kind of Pekić’s self polemics.
