Summary/Abstract: It is quite interesting to observe the significance of Stanislav Vinaver, highlighted in a number of texts that Nikolai Timchenko (1934–2004) wrote about his work and engagement, especially during the fifties, taking into account the fact that Timchenko’s activity itself was marginalized and sidelined.
