Summary/Abstract: The relevance of the problem under investigation is caused by the setting forhigher education institutions of the Russian Federation new complex organizational andmethodological tasks connected with the access to the international market of educational services,the development and positioning of competitive and demanded educational products. The article isaimed at revealing the urgent problems of teaching mathematical disciplines to foreign students inRussian higher educational institutions and searching for the best ways to solve them. The leadingapproach to the study of this problem was a systematic approach that enables a comprehensivereview of the features of the organization of the educational process in the case of a one-step model oftraining foreign students on the example of the M.E. Evsevyev Mordovian State PedagogicalInstitute. The article presents the perspectives of teaching mathematics to foreign students. Thematerials of the article are of practical value for foreign students’teachers of mathematical disciplinesin higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation.
