Summary/Abstract: With the increasing industrialization and the phenomenon of globalization, trade relations between the countries with has reached a more important magnitude. As the necessary resourses needed to meet the consumption needs of people increase along with the technological developments, international trade has become more important. Özbekistan, which gained their independence with the dissolution of the Soviet Union, joined the international trade system as a new actor. In this study, international trade relations between Turkey and Özbekistan are examined and distribution of Uzbekistan's foreign trade on the sectoral basis has been evaluated. As a result of this evaluation, it is revealed that the commercial relationship between Turkey and Uzbekistan hasn’t reached the expected level. There has been historical and cultural ties between Turkey and Uzbekistan which has become a crucial market fort he developed countries and the other countries in the region. So the realization of the commercial activity between the two countries is of great importance for both Turkey and Uzbekistan economies.
