Summary/Abstract: This article deals with the creative work of a Russian guitar player and composer Olexandr Vinytskyj in the modern guitar art contest on the post-soviet area. The synthesis of classic, folk and jazz elements is traced in the composer’s works for a classical solo guitar, guitar groups and instrumental ensembles with guitar as one of stylish features of modern guitar music. The specific features of author’s educational program «Jazz for classical guitars» are analysed.
