YMER SHKRELI’S LITERARY CREATION

Summary/Abstract: Ymer Shkreli is one of the most important writers of Albanian Contemporary Literature, but his work has not been sufficiently addressed by Albanian criticism and literary studies. He delivered almost all kinds and literary forms, such as novel, poetry, drama, children's literature, and autobiography. So we are dealing with a complete author, regarding the treatment of his literary work in many forms and literary genres.He is the author of over thirty literary works, both published as books, as well as editorial publications in literary journals and newspapers of the time. Thus, it makes it one of the most productive writers of Contemporary Albanian Literature. And not only among the most productive, but in our opinion, among the finest in our literature, from the beginning to the present. So, our intent to make this long study of Ymer Shkrel's work is that, besides highlighting its artistic values, also stressing its affirmation as a writer for today's reader and researcher of Albanian literature.
