Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the idea of Slavic reciprocity in the poems of the Slovenian author Jan Collar and the Russian author Alexander Veltman, created the context of the socio-political factors which initiated the cultural consolidation of Slavic peoples in the first half of 19th century. The analysis takes into consideration the literary doctrines of pan-Slavism characterised by ideological and artistic intersections of Slavic mythology, history and culture.
