Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with Zvonimir Remeta, famous for creating a recognizable model of psychological novel in the interwar period of the Croatian literature and for peculiar style and original expression he enriched the Croatian literary life with.In the period when socially-engaged literature emerged at the Croatian literary stage, Remeta appeared as a representative of psychological prose. In his three successful novels Grieh, Tako svršava and Sentimentalna reportaža he elaborates life reality of an average bourgeois family offering analysis of psychologically-emotional world of that community members. While creating his fiction textures he skillfully combined a couple of different narrative techniques such as: inner monologue, stream of consciousness technique, specific dialogue, free indirect speech, etc.
