The importance of pre-Christian parish texts related to the Salzburg mission for shaping Christian terminology

Summary/Abstract: On the example of the Paleoslav texts, the author presents the formation of religious terminology, of which he distinguishes three groups. He focuses especially on the lexicon of the sacrament of confession and he joins the translation, first in our country, of the general confession.
