Summary/Abstract: In his article the author presents the main ideas and the formation of "papal anthropology". He calls this anthropology "the good news" for man. Such a call accentuates a particular character of John Paul II's teaching about man. This teaching reaches its peak in Christocentric humanism. According to the author's opinion, such humanism constitutes a proposal that delivers hope for the contemporary world.
