Summary/Abstract: This paper is part of the research project entitled El legado de las Cortes de Cádiz en las aulas de Enseñanza Secundaria, which is being carried out by the Department of Didactics of Language and Literature of the University of Cádiz within this institution’s own research plan. Our didactic proposal is aimed at students of Spanish as a foreign language and has as its main goal the planning, development and diffusion of a virtual literary route based on the “literaturization” of the emblematic places of Cádiz in 1812, with Cádiz, one of the National Episodes by Benito Pérez Galdósas, as the creative stimulus. For textual creation, the project follows the reading and writing process proposed by Romero & Jiménez (2016).
